At the Commonwealth Business Forum, Globals announces to expand in Africa PDF Print E-mail
Commonwealth ForumPort of Spain, Nov 26, 2009: Globals’ CEO Suhas Gopinath represented the company at the Commonwealth Business Forum which was held on the sidelines of Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2009. Mr Gopinath was invited as a speaker in the Business Forum to share his experience as a young business leader and give his insights on the growth of SME sector in the emerging markets.


Mr Gopinath met the President of Uganda at the forum in Port of Spain along with other representatives from Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), and expressed that Globals was strongly considering expanding in the Eastern and Central Africa to offer its flagship product educationERP.net™ which is an enterprise system for Education Institutions. Suhas Gopinath also was looking at offering consultancy and custom development services for bringing in effective usage of ICT in the secondary and higher education sector for student assessment and administration.

Suhas Gopinath also called on the Federal Minister for Trade & Investment for Trinidad & Tobago Mr Mariano Browne to explore investment opportunities and to understand the market potential for Globals’ service and product offering in the Caribbean region. Mr Gopinath commented that Caribbean region has good potential for educationERP.net and Trinidad & Tobago can be a great hub for near shore services as it aligns almost the same time zone as that of East coast in US.
